On May 12, 2008, an 8.0-magnitude earthquake struck Wenchuan in southwest China's Sichuan province. Nearly 70,000 people lost their lives with 18,000 missing and 370,000 injured in the quake. A decade later, many survivors have been able to fight off the pain – both physically and psychologically – left by the quake and begin their lives anew.
